hello all! I don't have any birds yet now. Some years ago I had a very beautiful cockatiel parrot. She lived with us 12 years and I had to leave her with my brother-in-low when we moved to Canada. I had a very handsome dog - siberian husky, caramel color of hairs and blue eyes. Another pet is iguana. But I dreamed about macaw from my childhood. Now I'm started to look around for this big parrot. I like this forum for help that I got for investigation of scam post about very cheap pair of macaw. I'm going to read at forum a lot about macaws, their habits, features and feed. Thanks all for making this forum so friendly.

Welcome Shimmer to the forum. I would suggest the blue&gold macaw if you go with the big macaws. Now if you settle for a mini macaw then I would suggest a Hahns macaw. Just do a lot of research and ask for questions under the macaw section I am sure you will get lots of responses, peace. I would also suggest to talk to breeders and visit some birds as well.
