not possible to tell gender of a lovebird by appearance. Will have to either do a blood DNA or wait for an egg to maybe be laid

Telling the gender by appearance is possible by experts but they sometimes also are wrong. The best is DNA test as aboth

If you know the parents colours, then maybe I can tell you, but otherwise.... Impossible. Like the others mentioned. DNA testing is the only way to be sure or if it lays an egg.
