Hi, just found this site! I have just celebrated my friend Jimmy's 10th birthday (he's a blue headed pionus) I'll never understand why pionus aren't more popular...he's a GREAT bird. Since then I have had two rescue birds come my way, an African Grey that someone gave away because he plucked his feathers, and a nippy little Meyer's. Even after ten years, I still have a million questions! I have learned how to say no to free birds, though!
