Parrots
Sun Conure (Dunkin)
grey cockatiel (Nalo)
Thought I would give the customary hello before preceding on.

I have two parrots.
:orange: Dunkin, a Sun Conure
:grey: Nalo, a grey colored Cockatiel

We're informal around here, we'd have let you proceed on without saying hello at no charge, but since you did, welcome to the forum.....

Welcome to the forum. :) You have a very nice flock there. We would love to see photos when you settle in on your perch here & have time.:D

Welcome to the forum, MagegrayWolf (+ Dunkin & Nalo). Great to have you here. :)

Here's a picture of both of my birds together.

Whitefaces are beautiful birds! Welcome to the forum!

Does your conure and tiel get along well together?

They get along okay. The tiel usually tries to stay out of the conure's way. Often the conure will see me petting the tiel and he will try to sneak over while the tiel isn't paying attention and join in on preening her. When the tiel notices she is being preened by the conure she runs away.

:grey: Nalo has a very demure sedated personality, who is a little scaredy bird. While :orange: Dunkin is a little ball of energy and cuddles, always looking to get into trouble.

Haha!!! That's too cute!

Casey, my tiel, used to interact with a flock of budgies. The budgies weren't particularly tame and friendly with me, but they'd sit with me if I wanted them to. I recall one time when I was scritching Casey's head and she was so into it that she didn't notice that one of the budgies, curious creatures as they are, "sneak up" on her and started preening her head, too! Boy, was she furious when she realized it wasn't me!

My mitred conure also enjoys preening other birds [*IF* I'm holding them - doesn't care for them otherwise!], but none of my other birds like him, so that doesn't go over too well and I keep them separated.

Sounds like you've got a great "pair" that gives you both sides of the spectrum!
