Hi everyone! New to this site, not new at all to parrots. Thrilled to be here though!!!

I'm a stay-at-home mom in Alberta, Canada, and I have an orange-winged amazon parrot. I've raised lots of parrots of various sizes, and also raise some chickens on the farm here. Can't wait to meet you all!

His name is Rafiki, and he's in his mid-twenties though he just came to live with me last week. He's a rescue, so we're taking things very slow for now!

Congrat's for taking in a bird in need, you will be greatly rewarded.
You correct in taking things slowly, Rafiki is in a strange environment, not to mention, getting used to his "new flock".
Each day, changes will occur, interact and talk to him, let him get used to you and your voice.
