Hello from Alberta

Hi everyone! I'm here to talk to some people that are bird obsessed as I am. I honestly didn't like birds a few years ago and never thought I would have one as a pet until I started working at a pet store. We had someone drop off a little splayed legged lovebird at my store, I had been working there for about 8 months. They said if no one took her, they were going to dispose of her. I couldn't let that happen so I took her home. I named her Scooter, she's going to be a year old in October and she's doing wonderfully! I had many people tell me that she was never going to make it past a few months, but she's one of the happiest birds I've ever met in my life, and I couldn't imagine my life without her in it I recently added a male Hahns Macaw to my little "family", his name is Odin, he's a wonderful little bird and I hope Scooter and him will get along eventually (I just got the Hahns yesterday). I have done so much research about birds that I am know as the "bird queen" at my store. Well I guess I rambled on long enough, I hope to meet some serious bird lovers and talk birds! Hi Kalel! I just noticed your comment! I got my Hahns Macaw from Petland in Lethbridge, he get's them from a breeder in Ontario. Send me a private message when you get time and we'll discuss it further
