Hello from Australia!

Hey everyone, I'm new here obviously!
I'm from NSW Australia and recently got my first parrot Rango.
He is a Princess Parrot who are native to Australia so not sure if you guys have them in other countries?
Anyway, he is about 6 months old we got him in February and I'm absolutely smitten! Never realized how good of a pet a bird as growing up with my parents we always had dogs.
Glad to find a community of bird lovers!

Welcome to the forum Renae!!! Princess of Wales is one of my favorite parrot for their absolute beauty but they're not in abundance in my area as I would love to get my hand on one of them. But I've been banned from having anymore birds....lol....Cause I did see one at the bird fair but liked I've said, I'm not allowed.... :/

Haha who says you aren't allowed another one? Your partner or your other birds? Before we got Rango I've only ever had budgies, so different having a princess, he is so friendly/hilarious only problem I have is he won't let us pat him at all All I was to do is cuddle him haha

My partner said no more birds! LoL....We have plenty anyways and they keep us very busy!!!!! Daily cleaning and feeding takes hours....
