Welcome to the forums!

We have many members here that are owned by an Amazon so you’ll love it here ;)

Here’s our Amazon sub forum with very helpful information:

General information is apply to this situation of course, but as with any new bird, be calm, quiet, and non threatening.

Depending on how tame your baby is, put him in his new cage so he can get used to it.

How old is the baby going to be when you bring him home?

This site is the BEST!
You can find all the info you need to raise a well adjusted companion parrot.

Anything you can't find someone will likely have an answer for.

Just let him chill and acclimate and learn to love his new home and you.
It's all about building a strong bond.
Building trust and not breaking it.
