Hey everyone. Thanks for accepting me. Had a job change recently and now can look after birds. Two CAGs recently died on me (baby's at 4 months). I have posted in the relevant forum here and any advice would be greatly appreciated. I have kept budgies before but never birds so young.
Appreciate your time
Pete :)

Welcome to the Parrot Forums. Was reading your other Thread and see that you are getting excellent advice there.

Very sorry for you losses and I hope that you can find the source of the problem(s). At this point, the advice on deep cleaning is great as is the possible chemical sources. And, to that I would add possible mice and rat killing chemicals.

Welcome, am so sorry for your happenings! It is horrible what all those little ones go through!

No vermin chemicals here. But I do use insecticide spray in a room downstairs. About two rooms away in he the kitchen :0/

Welcome! My sympathies as well.
Just my suggestion about possible hazards...
Be completely and creatively paranoid!
Much to family/friends' irritation, I am constantly scanning the environment for anything that might possibly (or impossibly) hurt my bird. Sprays... objects... hazards of any kinds. Birds are SO sensitive... remember the canaries in the mines.
:)
Good luck in the future!

Hello Pete, welcome to the forums!! Just posted in your other thread, and the previous mention of pesticides may give a huge clue. Many are lethal to sensitive parrots - if you can determine the type of product the cause of your losses may be clear.

Hi Pete, welcome :) to the forum, good to have you. I'm so very sorry about your babies. There is a lot of great suggestions and advice on your other thread. :) I wish you nothing but good from here on out.
