hello all. Since ive rented for the past couple years and not being able to have typical household pets like cats and dogs ive developed a love for fish snakes and now birds. Looking forward to learning a lot about some new feathered friends

Welcome to the forum, do you have any fids?

Fids? Is that a typo for kids? If so yes i have a 1 and 3 yr old. If its short for something i apologize.

don't worry, i didn't get it at first and nobody explains what it means to you.... fids is short for "feathered kids" or "furry kids" depending on the context ;)

Ha thanks taylor! No fids yet but hopefully beford too long. Ill have to spend some time on here to learn the lingo. I was big into fish especially freshwater stingrays and have all those terms down but loks like im a noob here!

Oh yeah sorry, it's feathered kids.
I love sting rays, but the coolest thing on earth has to be the manta ray! Oh what I would give to swim with one.

Im finding that i have the same attraction to parrots that i do to stingrays! If youve never seen many fw.rays check out some of the potamotrygon species such as henlei and leopoldi and the motoro.variants
