Orange winged amazon
sun conure
Hello from Pa, we are proud owners of a orange wing amazon and a sun conure. We adopted them from a lady that was moving and couldn't take. We were wanting a bird for awhile and it all worked out nicely. We have had them for a month now and they seem to be doing great. Now they both live together cause prior owner had them housed together. She told us that they started in separate cages but every time she left them out the sun would climb back in with amazon and wouldn't come back out. Also I am here to learn and hope to care for my birds si they can live a happy healthy life.

Welcome!! It seems to be unusual to be able to house two birds in the same cage like this, But i guess as long as they get along it would be okay. I would keep an eye out for fights. Glad you joined us. Birds are so much fun.

I thought the same thing but I should have mentioned they are both young around 1 year old. We have not noticed any fights as of yet. They only really spend night time in their cage though. We let them out pretty much all day. The room has a play perch for them and their cage so they come in and out as they please.

Now that is twice I posted pics and they are sideways. Now I use my android smartphone and once was from the website and once from tapatalk. How do I rotate.

Lol cute birdies! When you figure out how to rotate pics, let me know hahaha. I just rotate them before uploading them....? Sometimes it takes a few tries to get it right.

I use Ann's method to get the photos upright. You might want to use an image hosting site like Photobucket for your photos. That way you aren't limited as to how many you can post.

Hi and welcome neighbor..I'm from Ohio! Very pretty fids you have there! I can't imagine my Blue front amazon and my sun conure EVER getting along...lol. My BFA does not like my SC AT ALL!!! Poor little Cisco..he's so misunderstood. My pics only come out sideways if I take the pic on my phone sideways...if that made any sense. I use photobucket and rotate the pics if needed before uploading.
