hello from the Great White North

Hi Everyone,
I have been lurking on this forum for a few months now and have to say I love how everyone helps everyone out from the smallest questions to being supportive in a time of need. I am an animal junkie....that's my addiction....I have 3 dogs (Joey 15, Jenna 7, and their baby gidget 3), and 2 birds Rizo (my sucky sun conure) and Maggie (who disowned me for my 21 year old daughter)....Rizo is 7 months and Maggie is 5 yrs.....

I have always wanted to get a bigger bird but I am somewhat intimidated by their size so I am determined to get over this....I found a breeder(a couple of hours away) who happens to have 2 yellow shouldered amazons that are 5 months old...one male and one female....I am seriously considering it but my daughter came in today and saw me on the computer researching them and she announced "no more animals"....I grumbled and walked away....grrr did I mention she's 21....she's probably right !

Anyways, just wanted to say a quick hi and introduce myself!
