Hello from the Sunshine State!

My husband and I recently got a little Black Capped Conure named Loki.

I'm not a first time bird owner, but it's been almost ten years since my Sun Conure "Booby" passed unexpectedly. Before that I inherited my grandfather's Blue and Gold Macaw (JoJo) who passed at the age of 74.

Even though I've had birds in the past, it's always great to become part of a like-minded community to share funny stories and ask for advice.

I'm looking forward to meeting the other members!
