I already posted something asking questions about owning a bird. It'd be great if someone could go look at it :p

But uhhh hey forum. I'm Kelly, I'm 16, I want to be a vet, I live with my grandmother and brother in California.

Well, since I quit track & field, I have infinitely more time to do AP homework! No more waking up at 6am to race people! More time sitting at home questioning the cold war! It's the life I've always dreamed of, really. Well as a result of this, I was thinking of a making a friend that doesn't text you asking if we had homework for AP Language.

Well this was totally unnecessary but I hope to learn tons about avians here :D

Welcome Cressy, this is a good place to start. There is a lot of great information here and many knowledgeable folks.

Hello and welcome Kelly! :) Good to see another young bird lover on the forum ;) haha

I read your other thread, i am sure you will get lots of advice soon, there are plenty of great conure owners on here!

You definitely made a great choice of maybe getting a bird as a pet :p

Are you in the states? I'm asking out of curiosity because if you are in the states you're either a night owl (like me) or have insomnia, lol. Or you're down-under and the evening is ending or you're European and this is day-time for you. It's daytime in Asia too, right? I'm such a nerd thinking about time zones and such.

Haha I am :p California born and raised, it's 1:46am here and my brain just works so much better at night, and I have more motivation to do things once it's past 12am lol But I still can't get myself to do my homework \:

LOL Kelly! I'm a night person as well, but have to wake up around 6-7am for work! Well, I don't leave for work until after 8am, but still have to take care of the critters and get ready for work before then!

Man, I miss California! But anyway, welcome to the forum! :)

Welcome, Cressy, hope you learn heaps here. I can relate to the night-owl thing but I have to be up at 5.30am to get to work. I can also relate to the study thing although I'm an old bugger (nearly 60) still at university- distance education- and still procrastinating over history assignments (current one is Pacific War which is the 15 Years' War from Japanese viewpoint).
