Hello to all you fellow bird lovers!!!!

My name is Mark & I look forward to meeting as many of you as I can along the way! In the past I've owned & been involved in raising birds of all types & sizes. Since my Goffin's Cockatoo "Tooey" passed in 2009, I've poored all my love and attention into my 21 year off little Nanday Conure named Frito! I've had Frito since he was barely 3 months old & until his recent swollen toe issue, he's been a model of health & happiness! In the past I've had Macaws, Cockatoos , Amazon Parrots & Conures. I'd like to adopt a larger bird sometime in the near future, giving it love and a healthy forever home! As I am on disability and don't have money to spare, I hope to find an adoption who needs a lot of love, attention and activity since they are the best things I can offer. If anyone knows of any larger birds that need a good, loving home then please do not hesitate in contacting me! I live in Dayton, Ohio, an area that's had its fair share of bad press do to good hearted rescues turned hoarders. As I said, I have only one bird myself and I'm looking for a larger bird (that can live along side of my Conure) to adopt.

In conclusion, I want to thank those members & founders of Parrot Forum who came before me...without your dedication a newbie like me wouldn't have such a wonderful means of connecting with our fellow bird lovers!

Welcome to the forums. I hope to see some pictures of your conure.

If you're looking to adopt maybe you could try looking into the adoption section here. Have you tried looking on other websites for a parrot that needs a new home?
