Well to start off with my name is Paula and I am a proud owner of a 1 year old green cheeck conure Mattie as AVAST YE MATTIE. She was previously owned and even though I was looking for a baby, I couldnt pass her up and decided to adopt rather than buy a baby. Well I can tell you that that was the best decision I could ever make. She is loving, kind and gental. She can be a little loud at times and a bit nippy, but hay that what this breed of birds do. She has adjusted well to my family in such a short time. I have had her almost a week now. It is just so wonderful to have such a animal be part of my family. Now notice I did not say OWN, because she is such a part of my family its like having another kid and we dont OWN our kids. Well I am hoping that I get to make some great friends and that I can learn alot about having a bird live in my household. Again I am glad to be apart of this group of wounderfull people who open their house to what ever pet that they decided to own. Its great to met you all.
