Brand new Green Cheek Conure mommy here

My baby is 12 weeks old and I just got her two days ago. Any words of wisdom?

I've had birds my whole life but this is my first conure. I'm really excited

I too have a baby GCC. You know they are a tiny bird with a huge attitude. Unlike my wonderful grey, they fear nothing. For me, safety is a big concern. I think it is wise to clip wings early so that you can keep an eye on them. They will still fly but not as well as if they were not clipped. Normally they can fly like little hummingbirds.
There are many conure people here on our forum. I am sure they will add words of wisdom for you.
