My name is Jim. I live in NY and own a 6 month old Senegal parrot. Bishop is my first bird and things are going well. I am considering a second bird, a rescue GCC that is disabled. Looking forward to interaction with and advice of other parrot owners. 
I have also just joined another parrot forum, but the owner/admin is a little harsh in their opinions so I am hoping to find some balance between the two forums. It seems there's a lot of conflicting info out there when it comes to what's best for pet birds so I want all the information I can get!
