Hi! I'm Leslie and I share my home with three parrots. A green cheek conure named Chloe (nicknamed Bean) and two budgies named Opal and Jade. I also have a dog, a cat, three ferrets, four gerbils and two fish tanks. *catches breath* Right now I'm most closely bonded with Chloe and am in the process of bonding with/training Opal and Jade.

I'm really glad to have found a parrot themed forum. I love talking about my girls, learning about them and interacting with people who know what this whole crazy bird thing is all about!

I currently am looking/waiting to adopt a parrot. I currently have a dog, cat, and 3 ferrets. I am a little concerned about my ferrets and a parrot. My ferrets free roam whenever I am home and they get along fairly well with my dog, my cat hates them!

Have you had any trouble with your ferrets and parrots interacting? Do you keep them in separate locations from each other?

Hi and welcome! You have quite a household of different pets...lol. I was going to ask about the ferrets with you parrots also. Just out of curiosity...I don't have ferrets, nor any plans to get a ferret. My friend has a ferret and wants a parrot and I wondered how that would work?
