Hello : ) Thank you for the welcome.

Percy is our only bird and has been with us for just over a year now. He had been in the shop on his own for appx 2.5 years. He is my buddy - I love him immensley and would not like to be without him.

He was very timid and shy when we first got him and he is still growing in confidence and changing. It has been a very slow but extremely rewarding process.

I mainly work from home so spend pretty much the whole day with Percy. He likes to start the day with pomegranates and a sing song, loves his baths! And more sing song, a fly about and spends the early part of the evening with us then goes up to his bed in his tent.

We also have a doggy woggy and 2 ole cats!

We are animal and nature lovers. I have always had animals, bird wise - finches, lovebirds, cockatiels and now Percy. I am tempted to maybe one day find him a pal but so scared of upsetting him and also the new bird too. We have blue tits nesting in the garden, not right mow but early in the year.

Ps. He keeps trying to eat my little red spot that I have on my chest! Aaargh!

Welcome to you and Percy! This is a great place for animal lovers. I keep debating on getting another bird. Possibly a younger, more talkative bird, but I think that might upset Ducati. He already really lets you know if he doesn't think he's getting enough attention and I think he would feel more so if we added another. We do have two doves that live in the tree outside of our house. We hate the tree, but we love watching those two lol.
