Good Morning! We (myself, 3 kids and husband) will be adding a WB Caique 
to our family in December. We put a deposit down on a now 6 wk old baby. We are all excited! We currently live in Northern VA and are working with a great Aviary in the area who offers great support and information. While he/she is being weaned we will be able to go in and start hand feeding, touching and bonding with our little one. This weekend we are planning on going in and pick out our baby (and the DNA test should be back).
We are in the processes of determining what we will name him or her. So far we have settled on the name for a boy Torch and maybe for a girl Swift. We currently have a budgie named Wind. As you can tell, we go for the different names for our non-human family members.
In the meantime we are preparing the "nursery" getting the cage and all the toys! I look forward to getting to know all you and sharing the ups and downs of being a parrot parent.
