Hi, I am from Australia and I own a few different birds. My parents in law live next door and we share our back yard. I have attached a photo of all the birds we love and have.

Because I work for most of the day and have a son now I don't have much time to spend with them however my father in law has been in the breeding business for over 15 years now and absolutely loves it... He even got me into it.

I love my parrots but I could never find time to train them to talk. I only had enough time to keep them tamed and attached to me... So I had my wife record her voice and I made it into a loop every 30 seconds so they would learn. It was completely amazing how well it worked. My African grey learnt within days. Even my eclectus and macaws... I only use to have it play for one hour. So recently I decided to also create a YouTube channel where I can help other people who go to work 12 hours a day and are unable to teach them to talk.

Like I said before completely love them and I am so grateful that I have my father in law next door to help me or most of them would be gone by now.

I had no idea there was a forum to discuss your parrots and I am so excited to join. Please let me know what type of parrots you have.

Welcome and be welcomed. I have a Yellow SHoulder Amazon, names Salty. THey are a rare species of amazon, but mine was domestic born and raised. I too started Salty talking using a tape, but he now picks up stuff on his own. He will be 1 year old 8/15/16.
BIRDIGIRL has an amazing white front amazon, Mr Biggles, in fact there are quite a few 'zon owners on here.

Yea we have them mix cages from when they are 3-4 months so they get a long with each other and make sure we spend time with them as much as we can.

Your poor ekkie doesn't seem too pleased with his current seating arrangement, though. Lol! (Yeah, I've found myself seated next to the guy who doesn't understand personal space, too. I felt like doing the same thing! Hahaha!)
