Hello everyone,
My name is John, I'm from New York. A few weeks ago a relative of mine passed away and his family contacted me to ask if i would be interested in adopting his bird. I am now the care giver of a sulphur crested cockatoo. I have many questions which i will be posting in the following months. Hope i can get some good advice and give this beautiful creature a long and comfortable life. Looking forward to chatting with everyone.

Welcome to the forums, John! I hope your Sulphur Crested has settled into your home with minimal stress. Adopting a cockatoo is life with a perpetual 3-year old child, but so rewarding.
