Its worrying me a lot, she seems to be vomiting (NOT regurgitating, its like mucus, and she shook her head, enough that she got some all over her head).

She's also acting like she's choking over it and making a weird noise, like she's trying to push it out. Like she's pushing with her nose constantly, I don't know how to explain it.

If anyone has anything to share, thank you.

Get her to a avian vet NOW!!!!

There's no vet anywhere close enough. I think we lucked out, she was choking on something which she finally regurgitated. I don't even know what it is, it looks like a seed, or maybe its chicken, either way it was -very- hard and came out of her. She's all fine now, although a bit stressed.

I guess thats all it was? Did that ever happen to anyone else?

If I were you I'd start searching for an emergency vet in case you ever have another emergency.

Oh my gosh! You need to find a vet anywhere! I'm glad she got it out but thats wiered that she would choke on food! Please try hard I find one!

Hold on ... this may just be normal allofeeding, i.e., the regurgitating of food for feeding and mating purposes. My GCC has been doing it to me the past two to three weeks because the egg-laying season is coming.

Is she doing this when you're in contact with or close to her? Is she okay once the episode has passed? If you distract her while she's doing this will she stop doing it and go back to normal? If so, then she may not have any sort of illness.

By the way, if you're in San Francisco, there's a good avian vet on Taraval Street called Bay Area Bird Hospital.
