help identifying amazon please

Can anyone please tell me which type of Amazon this is? I've had him 2 1/2 years - it's taken me 2 years to gain his trust so he can come out of his cage without pinning and displaying. Going slowly. Thanks for any help

He is a Yellow Crowned Amazon, they have the yellow front above the beak & the red on the sides of the dark beak.

Yep its a yellow crown. They are easy to confuse with the panama. Other than size and slight color difference, that reddish orange mark on the upper mandible is what says yellow crown. He/she is beautiful congrats.

Yellow crowned, Panamas beak is lighter color. He is very beautiful and good luck.

Thank you all who responded. He is beautiful and very sweet. I know that can change in a heartbeat, but so far he's been very good. 2 1/2 years of work finally paid off!!! Yippee!!!
