Help! Lovebird is biting

Hi, so I got my female a year ago, and she has a biting problem .. Whenever I put my finger anywhere in her sight she runs to bite it. I feel deeply for her because I want a good life for the little birb. Its just so hard to help her when she's biting my hand off.

I fear there is no hope for her since she's already a adult and I've had her for awhile. But any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

Long before the closing of the Import Stations near all Parrots came into someone's life "WILD." And, they started biting day zero, hour one!

Birds have no natural reason to trust Humans!!!

Expectations are useless and do not apply to developing a Relationship, regardless of whether it is with a Parrot or a Human!

Once you have proven to the Parrot that you can be Trusted, you will find the relationship will improve.
Just remember that you will need to prove you are Trustworthy everyday!
