- 2 Lovebirds: 1 male A. r. roseicollis (Whitefaced Violet Mutation) & 1 female A. r. roseicollis (Green Mutation?)
Currently my lovebirds have this:
Prevue Hendryx Signature Select Series Wrought Iron Bird Cage in Chalk White at PETCO
Its a little big for them and I don't like the playtop on top--it makes the cage darker because it blocks light from above.
I am looking for a safe, substantial hanging cage. I think they need at approximately 20" deep x 30" wide x 30" tall so if it was round that would be 30" diameter x 30' high OR 24" diameter x 40" high (just to give you some estimates).
All the hanging cages that I am finding are either decorative (and most likely toxic to birds) or light-weight and cheap looking, like these:
Prevue Pet
If you guys could help me find a more substantial hanging cage that's similar to the quality of the one I have now, rather then the cheap lightweight plastic ones, that would be great. Thanks! You can hang heavy things from your ceiling like furniture so why not a nice cage?
