Help new IRN beak issue

Hi all, I have a new baby and we love her. She's about 3 months old. We have a green cheek also. Just curious if anyone would have a clue as to what this is on her beak.

I’ve had her about 3 weeks now and this spot seems to be getting worse. Anyone ever seen anything like this? This is my 1st ring neck.

Did she bump into something? or have a fight with another bird if not than I would recommend taking her to the vet.

Does he/she stay still in the cage?
My IRN baby hangs on the bars and tries to chew on them a lot in attempt to get out of there. So I’ve notices some scratches on his beak (the same place as your IRN’s)
Maybe he/she was too harsh on the bar chewing?
If not, definitely check with the vet, if it’s an infection it should be treated asap

Looks to be a damaged beak... did you get her that way?

If it's getting worse it's being worn down. I would check things in her cage and check the bar spacing. I had a similar problem because a new cage's bars were too close together.

It looks deep. You need to work it out and stop it as quickly as you can.

Thank you everyone. I don’t think it could be her cage. She had a little spot but nothing like this. I was reading online that maybe she could be needing some vitamins. She has an appointment this week.
