Hi all! Long time no talk!

I need to make a cover for Aleta's travel cage. The blanket I've been using lets in too much light, and she is up really early waking up our hosts! We won't get many invites back at this rate!

If I were to sew a cover (for winter traveling purposes too) what material will be warm and dark? I plan to cut air holes/slits.

Any ideas would be appreciated! [emoji4]

Hi Christine! I have no idea what kind of material you could use, but wanted to say how happy I am to see you! You and Aleta have been missed!!!

Thanks Terry! Hopefully we can schedule a coffee date sometime soon!!

I used fleece (polar fleece) for Zilla's travel cage and her huge cage in the living room. I think if you choose a dark color you will be fine for keeping out the light.

We also use polar fleece, plain black (any dark color would do fine). I don't think theres a need for air holes, it's pretty breathable.

Thanks guys! Those suggestions are helpful! Now if only my sewing skills were up to par.. [emoji5]
