Help with lighting

Im building a flight cage and I need to find out the best lighting for my birds. can someone please point me in the right direction ..

Overall area beyond Cage that will need lighting (determines if lighting is along a center line or outside edge of cage area)
Cage material and spacing?
Open Top (cage style) or Lighting inside of Cage?
Available electrical service: XXX Volts AC / XX amps AC
Water proof requirements (local code)?
Light Level: Morning, Noon or Late Afternoon?
Light colour: Day Light (White Light), Yellow Light (normal interior), Orange Light (normal exterior), Special lighting - please specific
Manual or Auto on/off?

NOTE: If Indoors, need the size of the room (including height) and what are the colours of the walls and ceiling
