Help!

My two parakeets, Bentzi (Wild Green Male) and Eden, (Violet gray female) are fighting! And they are mates, but before the sudden fighting, they fed each other and sat close. Please help me!

Separate them or getting them a bigger cage so they can possibly get away from each other. When I had a lovebird and budgie in the same cage I had two flight cages put together(set it up so two side doors were constantly open so they both had access to both of the cages). Davy the budgie was a little food possessive so I had multiple food and water stations. DAVY would just chase Luvy away from the food - never attacked. ( I believe I had two boys)

Identify what they are arguing about (could be hormones) see if you can remedy it and make sure they have suffient space to get away. If you currently do not have suffient space or can't immediately solve why they are arguing I'd separate them

I now think it may be hormones, because Bentzi's pink cere is turning blue, and Edens is turning brown.
