Peaches is finally here. The first day she bonded with my wife right away because the breeder is a female. However the 2nd day she bonded with me. I keeping her separate from the birds because they could harm her out of jealousy. She is right now playing on play gym. Peaches is a great addition to my flock. I already love her very dearly.

She is gorgeous! Congrats on your new addition. :]

Sorry, I was trying to post pics on the other thread but using my phone gives me the fits. I should of just used my laptop instead. But I will have to repeat my question again. When do baby suns start their infamous screams? It is day 2 and so far Peaches has been very quiet. She only makes soft baby sounds.

I think they are all quiet for a couple days mine was for about a week, and then the screeching began. We had him named lorenzo he lost his name somewhere along the way and everyone started calling him screech LOL he is so loud but i do not get annoyed by him. I actually enjoy the noise, as the kids grew up the noise in the house dwindled away. Conures are great love bugs so much fun have fun with Peaches she looks so cute.

My conure started the first day we took him home at under 3 months old. Yours should start with the flock call in a few days to a week when she attaches herself to you guys. It's just the sun way. Very ear splitting!

If he never screeches, as long as he is healthy and happy then consider yourself lucky! Peaches looks awesome :D Grats!

Thanks to everyone and I am glad that Boomer is okay. You had me scared there for a moment. The Sun is getting along with all the family members. Before going to work I caught her taking a nap with my daughter. She is already a cuddle bug. I have been soo happy with my first conure that I am already thinking of adding another conure next year! But knowing my wife it will be very hard. She has layed the rule that only 4 birds can live in our house. I will have to wait. I am not trying to sound cruel but my daughters love bird is getting up there in age. When that sad day comes then I will add another conure to my flock. I just don't know what kind. Then again if I bribe my wife I could get another bird next year. Oh well for now my flock is complete and I am happy and content.

Awww Peaches is so cute!!! And thats great that she's getting along with everyone :) Congratulations on a beautiful addition to your flock!

Peaches is sooooo adorable! You will love having a Sun. They are so much fun!
Congrats!

Mozzie, thank you so much. You have a dream collection of parrots. I must say, I love the birds you have chosen. The Grey can not stay in our home because of the dander issue. However you got a Amazon, 3 beautiful conures. I am too afraid of the Zons hormonal outburst. The Jenday while beautiful I read are nippy. The blue crowns are a real gem but my wife and daughter probably would not get impressed by their colors. But as a parrot lover I love your flock. Peace.

I just got home and I found Peaches sleeping in birdy hut. I did not want to wake her up but I missed her while I was out @ work. The other birds always wait for me to get off at work so they eventually woke her up. So once she became alert I let her out of cage and she instantly climbed in my warm hoodie sweat shirt. I can not believe how cuddly conures can be. This is something very new to me. Well I had to go to bed and wifey was not allowing me to bring Peaches to bed. So I came up with an idea. I placed a small Teddy bear in Peaches hut and she loved it. Next thing you know, she cuddled with it and fell asleep. Sorry if I bored anyone. Conures are starting to become my favorites!

I love conures, they are not only funny but so lovable
