He's home!!

Breeder text me today and said that baby Ravi's is ready to go today. He had not accepted hand feelings for 5 days and didn't loose any weight so he was ready to come home!!

He's a sweetheart and so pretty! He steps up, uses his beak gently, and hasn't screamed at all! I have to watch him closely to make sure he keeps eating,

any tips for the first week home with a young baby??

I don't really have any tips except lots of talking to your baby.....but I must tell you he's absolutely adorable!!! Suns are awesome yes they have ummm strong voices but their personalities are awesome! I wouldn't give mine up for anything!

Thanks guys, I got him settled in, tried to show him food and water but he was too busy trying to crawl out of the cage to be on me... Lol

I feel so bad for him. He's just a baby and He must be scared, I just want to make sure he eats and doesn't get sick from too much stress...

Congrats on bringing your baby home! Have you tried putting food in your hands to get him to nibble on? It's good he's wanting to come out to see you already, that's always a good sign that he was raised properly. Beautiful baby he is!!!!

Richard was not thrilled.... he screamed until I got Ravi all set up then when I brought Richard out to go sit in the living room he keep looking around and calling out.... nerd.

I put Ravi to bed shortly after we got home last night, and then I had to leave for work with morning, so I hope he has an ok day and I will try and get him to eat from my hand later so I know he is eating.

Ravi LOVES to be out. He is a social butterfly already.
