Zazu is turning out to be such a sweet, loveable 'too that I'm pretty sure my husband will agree to adopting him! Today we had 14 family members over for holiday dinner and Zazu was quite the celebrity - stepping up on everyone's arm, dancing and begging for head scratches. It would be hard to say no to such a good bird. Without actually coming out and saying "yes", what my husband said was "I guess we could fit a cage here so Zazu can be upstairs with us" - sounds like a plan to me! Ofcourse it doesn't hurt that Zazu has taken to Alan. Maybe he's just a very smart bird and knows how to play us to get what he wants...

I recued an umbrella cockatoo and my wife was a bit unknowledgable od what we were getting into. She was very standoffish at first but after a couple of months Cameo has won her heart. Every evening Cameo will come over to my wife and say "Hi" and cuddles up to her. That 10 minutes with Cameo everynight has convinced my wife Cameo is a great pet.
Wait til we have the poker game at our place. Cameo will be a stitch with all the talking she can do.
