I am the newbie here but not new to parrots. I had a Timneh fo 30yr. Now I have a Green Cheek Conure. He is 7 mth. I just got him today and I will watch him for awhile to maybe find a name that suits him. I watched him in the petshop for daily for about a week. Yesterday, I walked in the petshop and the owner knew by the look on my face that I had set my mind to get him. What a difference from my Grey to a little Green Cheek. I miss my grey (rip) but I won't miss cleaning the feather dust. Looking forward to learning and sharing here.

That is the same two bird species I have. A TAG named Rosie and a GCC named Cricket. They cannot be together at all. Little Cricket is passionately jealous of Rosie. He has been injured by her beak when he is bullying her.
