Hey everyone the names richard but everyone calls me chubz (no its not coz im fat) lol.. well i just bought an olive scaly-breasted lorikeet which is the first bird ive ever owned and decided it would be a good idea to join a community of people who enjoy the same pleasures of owning a bird as i do. So here i am.

Hi Chubz and welcome to the forum, while some people may consider the scaly's somewhat plain looking I find them facinatingly beautiful, not sure if many here on the forum have seen one before, so if you get a chance you may want to post some pics of your new fid (fid=feathered kid), we hope you enjoy your stay
