- Pacific Parrotlet (Kiwi) and a Pineapple Conure (Widget)
Hello! I figured it was probably a good idea to find a good parrot forum after we brought our newest member of the family home, and this place seems really nice. 
As far as pets without wings, we have two cats and two Pomeranians, but on top of that we also have a (very maladjusted) Pacific Parrotlet named Kiwi, and a (very clumsy) 2 month old Pineapple Conure. Up until about 2 months ago I'd never owned a bird in my life, and in fact, up until I became friends with my neighbor, I'd always been pretty anti-bird. I didn't HATE them, I just never would have considered having one as a pet. Well, she got a Nanday Conure last year and despite the fact that I'm pretty positive he is the most psychotic bird on the planet, I fell in love. I'm officially a believer, now! 
I guess I'm off to explore other parts of the forum and post a few pictures of my babies, and I look forward to getting to know all of you!
