Hi. I was looking around for some information on a bird I received and came across Parrot Forums and what better way to find out more about my bird than joining a forum and interacting with fellow bird lovers.
My name is Dru and I barely started involving myself with birds. I have 2 parakeets at home and as of yesterday, am a larger bird owner. I want to say it's a type of Conure but some opinions I received were that it's either a Cape Parrot or a Painted Budgie. I was given this bird by a friend of a friend because she was moving out of town and could not take him/her with her. But she could not tell me what species the bird is! And now curiosity is a killer...
Any help in identifying this bird would be very much appreciated! Thanks for reading my intro and I hope to be an active part of this community!
