Hi! I was on an old parrot forum but it got shut down ages ago so thought i'd find a new one to join :P

I've kept parrots since '06 and I've bred Lovebirds. More into medium/bigger parrots and other birds now, like Raptors and Corvids.

I have a whole menagerie of animals, but my birds include Lovebirds, a Sennie and Raven.

:) :innocent:

Hi and welcome to the forum! :D Would love to see pictures of your cute birdy babies! :D

Welcome to the forum....lots of nice people here to chat with : )

Welcome to the forum, it's a good forum with lots of helpful members. I've had several pet crows over the years ,great birds. A raven !!! I've looking one for a long time but we can't have them here in the US. My sister raised 3 that the power company destroyed their nest and the parents abandoned. They would follow her truck into town and wait on the side of the bed until she came out of the store and then follow her home, about 15 miles. I fell in love with them and their antics.

Welcome! I am so curious about your Raven. I've heard of people having them in older literature but never met somebody who actually has one. What are they like as pets?

Hi, I'm very new here too, having just taken on a cockatoo. My daughter would be very envious of your raven. She has a disabled crow with a huge personality and I'm owned by a 15 year old jackdaw with one wing and cataracts who turns on the fan heater when she's cold!

What a smart bird your jackdaw is. What temp does your jackdaw like to be kept at?

Hi! I would also be interested in hearing about your Raven. I too have read about people keeping ravens in literature and wonder what they're like as a pet?

Well if you ask me, normal room temperature but if you ask her, scorching. I'm forever turning the thermostat down because she turns it right up and basks; beak open, head on one side, wing out, feathers all fluffed out. When it turns off she turns the knob further so it turns on again. Smart birds, corvids.
