im from new mexico and im looking for a macaw for ours as a freind and talking budy!! and also loooking for a family freind who wants a african grey! to adopt or buy. i myself train horses, but my husband wanted macaws. so we went out and found 1 and adopted this guy hes a military macaw. was very mishandeled thankfully i had larger birds when i was younger. and my husband use to many years ago work at a pet store in hawaii. were he grew up and went to school befor moveing to new mexico latter on. were a large blneded family and we have sevral pets. from 6 kids rangeing from 17,16,13,8,6,&4. i came with 2 and my husband has 2 and we have 2!!! we have heelers that we raise and sale. we also have mini horses and a mini donkey!! and of coarse a few larger horses. we also have guinie pigs 2 of them which are great little pets for my younger 2 suprizenly tolerant of the kids for being what id call pocket pets!! we are envoled in football,gymnastics,cheer,soccor,baseball and even have 1 duaghter whos a life guard the 17year old! whos training to be a sports medican trainer!! we all stay busy in some way or anther! so this is us and we are hopeing to find a great new freind for our big baby!!! thanks for any leads or help!! would even consider anther type of bird but would prefer anther macaw. not set in stone thow
