- Penny, a Timneh African Grey who is one at Christmas time.
My name is Jill and I'm owned by a little TAG names Penny. She was hatched right around Christmas last year and I've had her since the end of March 2012. I absolutely adore her! She is very taken with my son as well. I would say I'm her first person and Robbie is her second person. He's headed back to college in January after being home for a year on an internship so I think it will be tough for her when he goes. She lives with our other pets, a 12 year old weimaraner and a 14 year old cat, both whom have a healthy respect for her beak. It's safe to say she rules the roost where the animals are concerned. She's been talking up a storm and is one smart little cookie! I'm looking forward to reading the forum and getting advice.
