Just wanted to say hi! I am relatively new to being a parrot owner, and find that I TRULY love it. I have a fear of birds, and so I decided to "push" myself and pick two pretty and sweet birdies to "fix" myself with. I wound up with a delightful Pacific Blue Parrotlet and a sweet Green Cheek Conure that I named Stitch (Parrotlet) and Lilo (Conure). I have SO much confidence now around birds and feel like I can now "read" them (still learning of course). I am feeling more confident and also thinking I might want to head some day towards crazy bird lady status ;-) My next wants are a Black Lory and a African Grey Temneh
