How Codie Follows Me!!

I have decided that Codie is more like a Dog than a Parrot.. Hr follows me everywhere. lol

Every time I go into the Kitchen, he comes down from his stand and toddles along behind me

LOVE IT!!!! How SUPER cute that Codie is!!! He want's mommy, ESPECIALLY since there must be some sort of goodies for him in the kitchen.

If no treats, then definitely snugglies.

I love when Amazons walk on the floor. They remind me of ducks how they waddle. SO cute!

Oh, and Codie looks HUGE, Wendy.

I love the waddle walk. My Coby has been known to do that a time or two also. I agree with JerseyWendy, Codie seems quite huge for an Amazon. What a big, beautiful boy he is.

ur bird reminds me of mine lol.

If I leave the room he squaks til I say something to him. When he gets out of his cage, he flies to my shoulder, then gives me a little peck on the cheek.

i can say I had a change of heart when i got him though, cause I had originally wanted to return all the things I had gotten for a cockatiel (we had one at the shelter and my supervisor asked us if we had wanted him).

I'm glad I was talked into getting a parakeet though from my wife and her dad. Hard to believe I want to get a couple more lol (boy what am I thinking lol)

He just not like me out of his sight :11: I always know when he is following, as I can hear his little feet tapping on the floor as he walks LOL

Once he is in the Kitchen, he normally flies up onto the stool and just sits there watching me, then once I come back onto the Computer, he comes back down and sits underneath my Computer Chair on the wooden rungs He just likes to be close to me all the time.

I also love the Waddle

I have to be careful that I dont tread on him sometimes! I find myself constantly looking around me before I move .

Codie seems to love walking around the floor!! He went missing the other day and I found him sitting under my Coffee Table in the lounge

Do you know what your Zons weigh? Everyone tells me that Codie looks quite big!

When he gets up on the stool, he always picks the one that is near the Fruit Bowl and when he thinks I am not looking he will quickly take a bite out of an apple or the grapes :11: The strange thing is though.. he will not touch Apple if I put it in his bowl!!!

HAHAHAHA! sneaky Codie they always want what they can't have

you would always have to check the fruit bowl before having a guest over, they would go to take a piece of fruit and find these bite marks in it

Bosley weighs 471g, Codie is nice and big but still a good weight range.

We haven't weighed them recently, we have gone thru 3 scales since ReaRea was a baby, all of them quit working for us.....

But, one thing I've always noticed about the Zon's......They must have a very dense muscular make-up because I've always felt they weighed twice of what their size is when I get them to step up.
