How do I feed starfruit?

How do I feed star fruit to a macaw? Got Erin some star fruit and now don't know if I have to skin it or deseed it, etc.

In the wild, parrots just help themselves to what's available, as available, probably due to a lack of sous-chefs, but you might want to check this link out:

Lol after some rewording on google I found an avian forum saying to do the same exact thing, and all the owners say they fought with birds over who would get the most to eat because it was sooooo delish. So I prepared the starfruit, took a bite and it was very bitter in some areas and dull tasting in others. Erin spit her piece out too. Well, I didn't know they were supposed t be orange- all the starfruits were light green at the supermarket. I will have to try again another day I guess.

Sounds like it wasn't ripe yet! Starfruit can be very delicious, it's one of my favorites.
