At the moment, Marigold, who is almost 2 years. Last year I had a twelve year old exhibition budgie, Boofer. In budgie years Marigold is about 24.

Not my bird but I saw a TV show done from a bird sanctuary where the Amazon was 70 years old and almost blind from cataracts. He was being well cared for.

Wow! Misha and I were talking about Merry last night and doing the math we figured out Merry is actually going to be 19 in April. Old parakeet! But still chipper as the reason we were discussing the little bird in the first place was we had just seen Merry give much bigger Gem a piece of budgie attitude for Gem thinking he could steal Merry's half eaten grape. Mind you, Merry wasn't eating it and had left it on top of the cage but Merry has the common parrot philosophy of "if it was once mine, it is forever mine."

I once had a conure who was 6-8 or so though.
