how to bath my bird

I really need to bath him its been two weeks. He will step up but wont stay on my hand long, he always always ends up walking to my shoulder instantly. I want to put him in the shower. How can i get him to stay on my hand i guess is what i need to know. He is just too focused on cuddling with my neck area.

Does your bird bathe in its water? How old is this bird & what kind of a bird are we talking about?

Some birds will accept being spritzed from a spray bottle, however, if a bird is not used to it, a shower can scare a bird.....
