I use a mac, and do it all via photobucket.. It is the easiest way! :)

Upload the picture, then to the right there will be 4 codes links.. Choose the image

See, this is what it looks like, and use this code.. It will be the one that posts the photo..

If you just paste the url address in the top bar, it will just come up as a link-

That is the most common problem i think people have, when i few threads alot of people just post the link, instead of using the codes :)

Just testing to see what the other codes do-

HTML: <a href="http://s1321.photobucket.com/user/tab_xo/media/Screenshot2013-10-30at85920PM_zps67a12ffa.png.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://i1321.photobucket.com/albums/u556/tab_xo/Screenshot2013-10-30at85920PM_zps67a12ffa.png" border="0" alt=" photo Screenshot2013-10-30at85920PM_zps67a12ffa.png"/></a>

OK- The ONLY link you can use to get your photo to post straight on ( if you use photobucket ) is the IMG code link! :)

Phew!

Thanks heaps Tab! Looks like I'll be creating myself a photobucket account today! :)
Also thanks Wendy - I had been using my album on parrotforums and following the guide in the tech support section which had previously worked well with my PC, just not with the Mac! I'll do as Tab suggests and use Photobucket from now on!

Thanks little Bro, very helpful, think I made a mistake in trying to put to many pics in one post :)

You can put more than 1 pic in a post, just hit the enter button on your keyboard to make a new line for it.

I have an issue with this too.... by using the 1st post directions if we have to go back to our home page to view our albums to copy the second pic, I lose the whole posting I was making. so I just posted with one pic, and followed up with a reply for the second one.

If there is another way to get 2 pic's into the post let me know. maybe a way to copy more than one at a time, using the CTRL key method? I tried that didn't work for me. is there a way?
either way I am happy to atleast get my pic's on here. lol photobucket been driving me nuts ..

thanks so much for these directions

dreamin_sqaw, you can try opening up an additional window.

In Windows 7 (and Vista?) you can easily open up two windows, drag one window into a corner and "drop" it. If you do it right, then one browser will fill up half the screen. Do the same with the other browser page to the other corner.

You can then easily switch between browser pages and get the URL's of the images you want with ease.

This can also be done in XP, although you'll have to resize the browser pages yourself. Haven't used 8 nor Mac, Linux or other OS's.

I've never had any difficulties posting pictures, unless I've reached some limit to how many I can upload... I pretty much use other websites to share photos, though!

I haven't posted a pic in ages. And it tells me I'm at the limit or over.

Uploading photos here is a piece of cake, Brandon. :) If you've reached your limit, I suggest you delete some ,so you can post more. And if you don't want to go that route, do as Michael suggested, use PhotoBucket, it's the easiest thing in the world, and it's FREE :)

It's kinda strange cause I have 24 pictures in my album and you only had 14. That's quite strange that you can't upload anymore??? Please do look into photobucket!

The number of pictures doesn't necessarily matter, rather the file size of each one- so if each picture is a large file you'll run out of room quickly if you're uploading to your album. When you use photobucket, or any other photo-hosting site, it allows you to copy and paste the photo's URL into your replies without them being added to your album.....and then you don't have to worry about a photo limit.

For my album I have 20 MB of available space (because I don't have any pictures in my album)...so if I wanted to add pictures, I would need to make sure the file size of each is small so I could get as many into my album as I can. But I do everything on my iPhone and can't adjust file sizes- so photobucket is my best friend! Haha

Have you tried attaching a photo in a post using the Attachment tool in the tool bar? It looks like a little paperclip.

I'm a new member and have very little album space. Is there a paid forum membership to increase my storage space?
