would adding seed guards help? every time my cag is out of her cage she travels around the house~ she is not flying, just climbs off....the only thing she will stay on is her hanging boing(from the ceiling)...any suggestions??

My CAG use to climb down too, until I put the seed guards on. So yes, seed guards helped with us :)

All I can say is Good Luck! They will spend every alone minute figuring out a way to get down if that's whhere they want to be.

Now the question is where would I order them from, I don't know what kind of cage she came with

Can you post some pictures of the cage? We can possibly figure out together what type of cage it is. :)

Keep picking up the birds and returning them to their cage. Sooner or later they will be trained not to leave.

Merlee that is what I have been doing, JW I will try to get a picture

Persistence and Duct Tape! lots of Duct Tape!!!!:D:D:D

There are these, but I don't know if they'll be of help... depends on the size of the cage.

Another option is to get acrylic panels, figure out how to drill holes into the panels without cracking them, then hang them up on the outside of the cage.

Also, try making the top of the cage far more interesting than climbing down!
