Hi y'all. Im a lurker but finally decided to join up
I have three birds right now. 1 Budgie and 2 Pacific Parrotlets. I also have a German shepherd, Border Collie/Lab X, 2 ferrets, 2 fancy mice and an Egyptian Spiny mouse. Ive worked with animals, all kinds, my whole life. My husband and I both train dogs
I got my degree in Anthropology but am going into more of a wildlife conservation direction.

Welcome to the best forum on the web. Lots of animal talk here from members all over the world. It is very different training a dog and a parrot but I guess you have already found that to be true. Wildlife conservation is so much needed. Any particular area of the world you are wanting to work?

Thanks for the welcome. I think bird and dog training are different in specifics but its fundamentally the same- positive reinforcement, firmess, consistency and a sense of humor I find it really interesting and rewarding. I look forward to getting to know you all better oh, the area I want to work in conservation is the Southern US and mexico.
