Parrots
I Sun Conure who hatched March 23. 2004. I adopted her on May 8, 2005
I had a Quaker Parrot named Nikki who lived for 19 years
I grew up with Budgerigars named Screech, Zoar and Blue Baby
I was wondering if anyone uses these to grow stuff for themselves and their birds. I have seen some smaller versions I am interested (like can fit on a counter or table) and it seems interesting. Is it work looking into or is going to the store the better option for all fresh ingredients?

I think it's a great way to provide fresh organic vegetables for your birds year round.

Do you use one?

Not a hydroponic system but I have a grow tent about 6x2x3 with grow lights on timers and heating mats that I grow various plants in including greens for my birds. I use it year round in my enclosed porch. As long as you're growing organically it's a great way to have fresh greens for salads and for your birds.

Yep, I use one I got off Amazon, brand name is moistenland - this is from before I restarted it. I grow herbs in mine and the root systems eventually start to clog the filter so I pull them out and reset with fresh seeds a couple times a year. Works great!

Love this idea. If I didn’t have a black thumb I’d try it.
